William Darc Paint's a Dark Picture of Toronto Escapism With "Lines" (Debuted On Noisey)

  • alt text

Previously Featured on Vice's music channel NOISEY, William Darc , a Toronto based singer-songwriter (who describes himself as Satan with a sweet voice) is the latest addition to the city's growing vanguard of Dark and Murky RnB acts (The Weeknd, PartyNextDoor, etc).

Produced by secretive record producer Roam, the song is as William puts it “An ode to the girl of the night who spends her paycheques running away from the boring daytime world of school and shitty jobs, but finds herself in more trouble than she thought she’d get into.” while also doubling as a commentary on/snapshot of nightlife in the Toronto downtown scene.

Look out for more from William coming in 2017!
