Chainsmokers-approved hip-hop remix of Don't Let Me Down
Releasing this one on September 13th. Would love a premiere or feature. Played the finished product for the Chainsmokers to avoid Soundcloud takedown issues. They dug it and reassured me they wouldn't have it flagged.
Song info: It's a reimagining of "Don't Let Me Down" BUT it barely has any relation to the original since the production is entirely new.
It incorporates elements of old-school hip-hop at first, and then transitions into future bass/electronic production to parallel the the storyline of my lyrics which initially reflect on the past losses that came with me seriously pursuing music, and then the current/future rewards of that decision.
Here are some tidbits on me (SIDIZEN KING):
New independent LA-based electronic hip-hop artist.
Last original track has more than one million streams across all platforms, hit #9 on Hypem and premiered on Sirius XM radio's electronic channel.
Info on producer casualkimono: Mentored by Max Martin, previously produced for Daye Jack and Shellback. More info on him here: http://bit.ly/casualkimono
Please let me know if there is any further info or press photos I can share to facilitate a post!
